AI photo geolocation 1

AI tool for finding where photos were taken using EXIF and visual analysis
whereisthis.place is an AI-powered photo geolocation tool that identifies where a photograph was taken. It first checks embedded EXIF GPS metadata locally in the browser and displays coordinates instantly when available. If GPS metadata is missing, its vision model analyzes visual clues such as signage, architecture, road markings, vegetation, terrain, and infrastructure to generate up to five ranked location predictions. The predictions are geocoded with OpenStreetMap and displayed on an interactive map with confidence scores. The service supports JPG, PNG, WebP, and iPhone HEIC images, and is designed for photography, travel, OSINT, journalism, research, and personal photo recovery.
